Like all of New Zealand, InZone’s operations have shut down and our teams are all safely at home so that we play our role in limiting the spread of COVID-19. We continue to operate and support all our various customers throughout this challenging period.

Smart Energy Solutions
  • Our Call Centre and Advisors are still taking calls to provide advice and information to homeowners looking to improve the health, warmth and energy efficiency of their homes.
  • During the COVID-19 Level 4 shutdown we will not be visiting properties.
  • Our teams are being supported through the shutdown period including people who are unable to work from home or have limited work they can complete.
Mammoth Insulation
  • Our manufacturing teams are being supported through the shutdown period.
  • As soon as either Milton and/or South Auckland are lifted out of Alert level 4 (and subject to government guidelines) we will immediately start manufacturing again.
  • We have built up some stocks of finished insulation products so all our wholesale customers can recommence business easily.
  • Our Customer Service and Business Development team members are working from home and are supporting architects, wholesale and commercial customers needs.

This crisis is highlighting the need for warm, healthy homes and as a business we are committed to supporting kiwi homeowners, landlords and businesses to achieve just that. We are confident of returning to increased demand once the shutdown is lifted as home health becomes a priority.

Please everyone stay safe, self-isolate and keep healthy as we unite against COVID-19.

InsulPro becomes world's first carboNZero insulation organisation

4/3/2015

Putting the philosophy of "creating better environments" into action - InsulPro Manufacturing Ltd is now a carboNZero certified organisation.

InsulPro's stance on sustainability originates from the development of polyester insulation as a less-toxic, non-irritant, long-lasting alternative to traditional insulation.  It now extends to the way we operate the business, our manufacturing process and the way we help customers create warmer, healthier more energy efficient environments.

InZone Idustries CEO commented.  "Our products save people money, improve their health and enable people to make a positive contribution to the environment.  We feel it is important to consider the environment in all facets of our business and so measuring and monitoring our impact, is the only way to understand how we can improve."

To continue our focus on better business practices, InsulPro Manufacturing Ltd sought and achieved carboNZero certification.

Our measured carbon emissions will be now be off-set, monitored and continually reduced through a variety of smarter business practices.

Following the liquidation of Right House this week, Smart Energy Solutions has offered employment to approximately 50 of the employees terminated by the Right House liquidator yesterday including most of the insulation installation staff.  This will make Smart Energy Solutions arguably the largest healthy homes and energy efficiency company in New Zealand.

Smart Energy Solutions has offered to take over the commitments made by Right House Ltd to EECA so there need not be any impact on households that have arranged free insulation through Right House Ltd.  Customers can contact Smart Energy Solutions on 0800 888 766.

The Chief Executive of InZone Industries Ltd explains that “Smart Energy Solutions is in a position to expand and deliver free insulation through Warm Up New Zealand: Healthy Homes in Wellington and Manawatu.  We’ll also have an even greater capacity to complete free insulation installations in Auckland, Christchurch and Dunedin.”

The value of Warm Up New Zealand was highlighted in December 2014 when the Prime Minister’s Science Prize was given to a team lead by Dr Philippa Howden-Chapman. The team estimated the programme’s net benefit to be around $950 million through reduced hospitalisations/illness against a combined total investment of $230 million. Read More

Beyond its involvement in the Warm Up New Zealand programme, Smart Energy Solutions provides free home assessments to homeowners, landlords and builders for a range of energy efficiency products including insulation, heat pumps, home ventilation, LED lighting and more.

Since Mammoth polyester insulation is safe to handle the senior students at Whangarei Boys High took on the task of installing the wall insulation into their refurbished Prefect Room.

Even insulation amateurs like these students can install like a professional thanks to the unique properties of Mammoth wall sections. InsulPro has just launched a new Acoustic ceiling tile into the New Zealand market that is lightweight, easy to install and completely customisable.  The NOVAhush Acoustic ceiling tile is 100% polyester and designed to fit into standard suspended ceiling systems with a high noise reduction coefficient (NRC) of 0.8.

The acoustic ceiling tiles are a revolution in design and functionality as the opportunity for customisable print is only limited by imagination – whether it’s 1 or 1000 tiles you are wanting, a single colour screen print or a full colour digital print, the NOVAhush acoustic ceiling tile provides the freedom to choose.

The lightweight nature of the tiles makes them an ideal component for any seismic design solution in a suspended ceiling system.
